Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, November 2025 — Josh Rhoades has stepped into the role of Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Turner Construction Company, marking the next progression in his longstanding journey with the organisation. In this expanded leadership capacity, he will continue driving enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy, enhancing recruitment effectiveness and supporting Turner’s vision of being the highest value provider of global construction services and technical expertise.
Before this elevation, Josh served as National Director, Talent Acquisition at Turner Construction Company, where he spent close to four years leading national hiring strategy and strengthening the organisation’s talent engine. His work in this role supported Turner’s innovation culture, recruitment scalability and commitment to attracting high-performing talent across North America.
Prior to that, he held the role of Regional Talent Acquisition Manager at Turner, contributing nearly six years to building strong hiring operations across the region. His efforts played a significant role in enhancing hiring processes, developing consistent recruitment practices and partnering with business leaders to ensure high-quality staffing outcomes.
Before joining Turner, Josh served as Recruiting Manager at SSI Schaefer Systems International North America, where he recruited for technical and leadership roles across IT, engineering, management and finance, supporting a major German automation company. His earlier experience includes being Talent Acquisition Manager at Sunbelt Rentals, where he helped build talent acquisition programs for one of the largest equipment rental companies in the United States.
Josh began developing his HR and recruiting foundation through meaningful early-career roles, including nearly seven years as Human Resource Manager at SSI Schaefer, more than three years as Account Representative at Engineered Handling, and over five years as Corporate Recruiter at Carolina CAT, where he strengthened his expertise in large-scale recruitment and people operations.
