Gurugram, Haryana, India, October 2024 – Kumkum Aggarwal has been appointed as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Vedanta Group. In her new role, she will oversee talent strategies for the company’s operations across India, South Africa, Liberia, and Namibia. With extensive experience in leadership hiring, CXO-level engagement, and global talent scouting, Kumkum will focus on attracting and retaining top talent in key areas such as mining, metallurgy, geology, and sustainability to drive Vedanta’s global operations.
Before joining Vedanta, Kumkum Aggarwal served as Talent Search Partner at Korn Ferry for two years, where she played a pivotal role in managing talent acquisition across various sectors, focusing on executive search and CXO-level recruitment.
Prior to Korn Ferry, Kumkum was with Randstad for over four years, holding multiple leadership roles, including Vice President – Professional Search and Selection, where she successfully managed large teams, driving results in professional placement and technology recruitment. Her strategic leadership helped in elevating Randstad’s talent acquisition capabilities in India.
Kumkum also worked as Vice President at Gi Group, where she contributed for over five years, specializing in recruitment process outsourcing and executive search across 19 industry sectors. Her expertise in global talent acquisition and project management made her a key figure in the growth of Gi Group’s operations.
Her career began at Kelly Services India, where she held the role of Branch Head – Delhi & NCR for over six years, building a solid foundation in talent acquisition and organizational effectiveness.
