Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, May 2026 — Marco Hilty has started as President, International, Industrial & Beverage (IIB) at Novolex, bringing extensive global leadership experience across packaging, industrial markets, commercial strategy, innovation, sustainability, and business transformation.
Before joining Novolex, Marco took an Executive Sabbatical focused on Research & Advisory, where he advised private ventures, managed real estate development projects, and researched generative AI, productivity platforms, and sustainable materials in packaging and industrial applications.
Earlier, Marco served as President, Flexible Packaging at Huhtamaki, where he led one of the company’s major global packaging businesses. Prior to that, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Rubicon, strengthening his experience in commercial growth and sustainability-driven business models.
Marco also spent nearly 12 years with Amcor, holding several senior leadership roles across North America, the Americas, and Switzerland, including VP/GM Amcor Flexibles North America, VP Business Group Sales, Vice President Strategy, Marketing & R&D, and Vice President & General Manager, Americas.
His earlier career includes consulting roles with McKinsey & Company and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, where he worked across B2B marketing, sales transformation, performance management, and supply chain optimization.
