Bogotá, D.C., Colombia, June 2026 — Johnson & Johnson has appointed María Paula Aldana Ospina as Global Lead of Compensation COE, Total Rewards, marking another significant milestone in her remarkable 17-year journey with the global healthcare leader. In her new role, she will lead the company’s global compensation center of excellence, shaping total rewards strategies that support employee experience, talent growth, and organizational performance worldwide.
María Paula brings nearly two decades of progressive leadership experience in human resources, compensation, talent management, and global HR transformation. Throughout her tenure at Johnson & Johnson, she has built deep expertise across total rewards operations, business partnering, project management, and HR strategy, contributing significantly to the organization’s people agenda across Latin America and global markets.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior Manager, Americas Business Solutions, where she partnered with Global Experience Owners to enhance employee experiences across hiring, learning and development, benefits, rewards, workforce administration, and intelligent automation initiatives. Earlier, she held the position of Global HR Manager, PMO, leading cross-functional initiatives aimed at strengthening HR capabilities and advancing employee-centric solutions.
Her leadership journey at Johnson & Johnson also includes serving as Total Rewards Operations Manager LATAM, Total Rewards Specialist LATAM, and Business HR Partner Pharma LATAM, where she was responsible for implementing compensation strategies, driving talent management initiatives, and designing workforce analytics and HR metrics frameworks across the region. Earlier in her career, she managed compensation administration and HR operations for Colombia, Central America, the Caribbean, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico, establishing a strong foundation in strategic human resources leadership.
Before joining Johnson & Johnson, María Paula served as a Human Resources Analyst at Ernst & Young, where she coordinated international mobility and HR administration programs for global clients, further strengthening her expertise in complex HR operations and talent management.
In her new role as Global Lead of Compensation COE, Total Rewards, María Paula will be responsible for advancing Johnson & Johnson’s global compensation strategies and reinforcing the organization’s commitment to delivering exceptional employee experiences through innovative and equitable total rewards programs.
