In this role, Melissa will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of Certn’s global People & Culture function. Their responsibilities include enhancing employee engagement, fostering a culture of belonging, and driving global talent strategies as Certn continues its rapid growth across 200+ countries and territories.
Melissa brings a wealth of expertise from their previous leadership roles. Before joining Certn, they served as a Learning Agility Indicator Certified Coach at Burke Assessments, specializing in leadership development and coaching. Concurrently, Melissa hosted the podcast Belonging is a Verb, highlighting the transformative impact of inclusive leadership on organizations and individuals.
Melissa is also the Founder of Vision Leadership, where they have spent nearly four years delivering training and development solutions. Additionally, they worked as a Relationship Manager at Ivey Business School, further strengthening their ability to foster impactful relationships in dynamic environments.
Their earlier roles include serving as an HR Business Partner at Economical Insurance, where they supported C-suite leaders, and at BMO Financial Group, where they earned multiple awards for their leadership excellence. At Citi, Melissa spent over a decade in leadership roles, consistently enhancing operational performance and team engagement.
