“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director, Human Resources at STARS!” Dickie announced, signaling her enthusiasm for this new role and her commitment to advancing the organization’s mission to enhance emergency medical care across Western Canada.

Dickie’s professional journey at STARS began over a year ago when she joined as a Human Resources Manager. In her short tenure, she has made substantial contributions to the organization’s HR strategies, particularly in aligning HR practices with STARS’ operational needs and supporting the unique challenges of a healthcare provider dedicated to critical care and emergency services.

Prior to her tenure at STARS, Dickie brought a wealth of experience from various leadership roles, including Talent Acquisition Manager at WestJet and Vice President of Human Resources at FGL Sports Ltd. Her extensive background also includes significant positions at Parkland Fuel Corporation and Intact Insurance, where she developed key skills in employee relations and strategic HR planning.
