San Diego, California, United States, December 2024 – MindgruveMacarta, a global leader in performance marketing, retail media, and data-tech, has named Janaka Atugoda as Managing Director, Global AdTech Solutions. In this role, Atugoda will oversee the company’s data consulting division, including its proprietary DataTech platform, Systemm, an enterprise predictive marketing analytics platform.
Atugoda brings over a decade of experience in AdTech and data strategy, having served as Amazon’s global AdTech solutions lead, working with clients such as Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Mars Confection & Pet Nutrition, Coca-Cola, and Peloton. Before Amazon, he led data strategy for Johnson & Johnson EMEA, showcasing his expertise in building innovative solutions for Fortune 500 brands.

He holds a Master of Science in Analysis, Design, and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from King’s College, University of London.
