Mumbai, India, September 2025 — Voltas Beko is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mukundan Menon as Chairman. Mr. Menon will guide the joint venture’s long-term strategy, portfolio priorities, and execution as it scales next-generation home appliances for Indian consumers through the combined strengths of Voltas (a Tata enterprise) and Beko (Arçelik Group).
Mr. Menon currently serves as Managing Director, Voltas Limited (since September 2025), after a tenure as Managing Director-Designate and earlier as Executive Director & Head – Room Air Conditioner Business. He is also the President of RAMA (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Manufacturing Association), where he helps shape industry standards and energy-efficiency priorities.
Previously, Mr. Menon spent over 17 years at Blue Star Limited, rising from Executive Vice President to President and then President & COO, leading diversified cooling and refrigeration businesses across India. Earlier, he was Country Head – AC Business at OMASCO (Oman), adding strong Middle East market experience to his India-focused leadership.
He has also advised Indian and multinational corporates on strategy, bringing a sharp focus on customer value, channel strength, and profitable growth—capabilities he now brings to Voltas Beko’s next phase.
