Brooklyn, New York, United States, April 2025 – Nancy Waters has been appointed as the Head of People & Events at Reflex Robotics, a pioneering company on a mission to free humanity from the drudgery of repetitive tasks through affordable, general-purpose robotics. In her new role, Nancy will lead the company’s people and cultural strategies, while also overseeing end-to-end planning and execution of impactful internal and external events that reflect the company’s rapidly scaling mission and values.
Nancy brings a diverse and dynamic background in human resources, operations, communications, and people processes, making her a strategic fit for Reflex Robotics at this exciting stage of growth.
Over the past year, Nancy has been contributing to Alethea in a freelance Talent & Operations capacity, helping streamline HR and people processes while also building scalable systems for organizational development. In parallel, she’s been practicing as a Communications Coach, empowering professionals to master interpersonal dynamics, boost performance, and develop high-impact communication habits.

Prior to that, Nancy co-founded and served as Head of Operations at Mella Lifestyle, where she played a crucial role in growing the business across the U.S. and Hong Kong over a span of more than five years, with a strong focus on strategic communications and people management.
Earlier in her career, she served as HR Business Partner and Director of Marketing & Creative Services at Cosmic Pet, where she led multifunctional teams across HR, marketing, and creative disciplines. Her experience also includes roles in business development and marketing at R2P Group Inc, and marketing and communications roles at Aspire Education, FanZappy, and Meyer Sound—bringing a rich blend of operational, creative, and people-first leadership to the table.
