Narayan Iyer Appointed Managing Director and Chair of the Randstad India Management Council at Randstad India

India, June 2026 — Randstad India has appointed Narayan Iyer as its new Managing Director and Chair of the Randstad India Management Council. In his new role, Narayan will lead the company’s strategic direction, business growth initiatives, operational excellence, and talent solutions agenda, further strengthening Randstad India’s position in the rapidly evolving world of work.

Narayan brings extensive leadership experience spanning more than three decades across technology services, business growth, digital transformation, sales leadership, P&L management, and global operations. Throughout his career, he has built and scaled businesses across multiple geographies, led large teams, and delivered transformational growth initiatives across technology and consulting organizations.

Prior to joining Randstad India, Narayan served as President – Technology Business Services at Bajaj Tech.AI, where he led technology-led business services initiatives and growth strategies. Earlier, he was Vice President, Growth Markets at Bristlecone, driving market expansion and business development initiatives across strategic markets.

Before that, Narayan spent more than 11 years at Cognizant, holding several senior leadership positions, including Vice President & Country Manager, ANZ; Head of Sales – Asia Pacific; Country Manager – Cognizant India and Middle East; Country Manager – Cognizant India; and Client Partner – BFSI for India and Middle East. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in building Cognizant’s brand presence across APAC and ANZ, leading market expansion strategies, driving sales growth, strengthening delivery excellence, and overseeing country-level operations and business transformation initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Narayan spent over 13 years at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), progressing through several leadership roles, including Head – Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Sales, India; Regional Manager, Mid-Atlantic; Regional Manager, Hong Kong; Manager – E-Business Services; and Sales Manager. He successfully led large-scale client engagements, expanded business across international markets, built strategic partnerships, and delivered significant revenue growth while strengthening TCS’ presence in key geographies.

He also held leadership positions at Sonata Software Ltd., where he managed sales, implementation, and training initiatives, and began his professional journey at Ahura Institute of Computer Software. Throughout his career, Narayan has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to drive business transformation, build high-performing teams, and create sustainable growth strategies across global organizations.

His appointment reflects Randstad India’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and advancing its mission of helping organizations build agile, diverse, and future-ready workforces.
