Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Metropolis Healthcare has elevated Jeyasingh Balakrishnan to the role of Group Head – Corporate Communications and CSR, strengthening its leadership in brand, reputation management, and ESG-driven initiatives as the organization continues to expand its global diagnostics footprint.
Jeyasingh takes on this expanded responsibility after serving as General Manager & Head – Corporate Communications at Metropolis Healthcare, where he played a critical role in enhancing the company’s brand positioning and stakeholder engagement. In his new role, he will lead corporate communications, CSR, and ESG strategy, aligning communication excellence with the organization’s long-term growth and impact agenda.
At Metropolis Healthcare, Jeyasingh has been instrumental in strengthening brand reputation across stakeholders through integrated communication strategies. His leadership has driven industry-leading PR share of voice, enhanced executive visibility, and supported strategic initiatives such as financial communications, annual reporting, and ESG disclosures, including the company’s first Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR).
Prior to Metropolis, he spent over six years with Hetero, where he led and scaled the corporate communications function into a globally aligned strategic unit. He played a pivotal role in global reputation management, crisis communication, and corporate rebranding, including communications for major pharmaceutical launches and COVID-19-related initiatives.
Earlier, Jeyasingh held a key role at Cipla Limited as Global Lead – External Communications, where he established and led corporate communications, overseeing media relations, leadership positioning, and PR strategies for major corporate milestones and campaigns.
He began his career in public relations with organizations such as Grey Worldwide and Mediacom PR, building strong expertise in media strategy, stakeholder engagement, brand storytelling, and reputation management across sectors.
With over two decades of experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, and ESG initiatives, Jeyasingh Balakrishnan is well-positioned to lead Metropolis Healthcare’s next phase of strategic communication and impact-driven initiatives.
