Navneet Sethi Appointed as Chief Executive Officer – eM&HCV at Montra Electric

Pune, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Montra Electric has appointed Navneet Sethi as Chief Executive Officer – eM&HCV, where he will lead the company’s electric Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle business. In this role, he will focus on strategic growth, manufacturing excellence, and operational scale-up as Montra Electric accelerates its expansion in sustainable commercial mobility.

With over three decades of leadership experience across manufacturing and engineering, Navneet’s appointment reinforces Montra Electric’s ambition to scale its electric commercial vehicle portfolio and strengthen its position in the evolving electric mobility ecosystem.

Before joining Montra Electric, Navneet Sethi served as Chief Executive Officer at Ultra Corpotech Pvt Ltd for about a year, where he led organizational growth and operational strategy.

He previously spent nearly three decades at JCB India Ltd., holding a series of senior leadership roles across operations and business management. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President – Operations, following his tenure as Senior Vice President Operations & Site Head. Earlier, he was Vice President & Business Head – Heavyline and Vice President & Business Head – Backhoe & Powertrain, where he drove large-scale manufacturing transformation, capacity expansion, and productivity improvements.

During his earlier years at JCB India Ltd., he held key operational leadership roles including Associate Vice President – Engine Purchase and Head Operations – Backhoe Loader, contributing significantly to operational excellence and manufacturing scale.
