NetApp Welcomes Alessandra Yockelson as New Chief Human Resources Officer

NetApp, a leader in intelligent data infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Alessandra Yockelson as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Effective immediately, Yockelson will report directly to CEO George Kurian, spearheading the company’s comprehensive people and organizational strategy. Her portfolio includes driving talent development, enhancing team engagement, and leading diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives, among other critical HR functions.

Yockelson transitions to NetApp following a significant tenure as CHRO at Pure Storage, where her leadership was instrumental in scaling global performance through pivotal organizational changes. Her extensive background in human resources spans across notable companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Diageo, and Philips, marking her as a seasoned executive in global talent management.

Holding a doctorate degree from the São Paulo School of Business Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas, Yockelson’s appointment is a testament to NetApp’s commitment to leadership in human capital management. Beyond her professional endeavors, Yockelson contributes her insights on the board of iCIMS, a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, emphasizing her commitment to innovation and operational efficiency in the HR sector.
