Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2024 – Nicole W. has been appointed as the Regional Head of Human Resources (MENAT) & Head of Performance at HSBC. In this role, she will oversee HR operations and performance management across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, bringing over a decade of experience within the bank to drive its people strategy forward.
Nicole has been with HSBC for over 11 years, most recently serving as Managing Director, Global Performance & Reward, where she led the bank’s performance and reward strategies globally. In this role, she was responsible for aligning performance management systems with business goals and ensuring equitable reward practices across the organization.
Prior to that, Nicole held the role of Managing Director, Regional Head of HR, MENAT for nearly three years, where she led HR initiatives across the region, with a focus on talent management, leadership development, and organizational culture enhancement.
Before joining HSBC, Nicole worked at Barclays for over six years as Director of Executive Support, Reward & Performance, where she specialized in executive compensation and performance management. Her early career began at Deloitte UK, where she spent nearly six years as an Employment Tax Manager, providing advisory services on employment-related tax matters.
