In her new role, Niketa will lead strategic HR initiatives that foster a thriving workplace culture, supporting SFJAZZ’s mission of preserving and celebrating the art of jazz.
Before her current role, Niketa was the Director of People & Culture at SFJAZZ, where she spearheaded talent strategy, compensation planning, and performance management efforts, enhancing organizational alignment and team cohesion. Her people-first approach and strategic thinking helped elevate the institution’s HR practices over her two-year tenure.
In addition to her work with SFJAZZ, Niketa has served as CEO of IceTrends, a company focused on attainable and sustainable jewelry, where she championed a unique customization experience for clients and promoted a culture of inclusivity and respect. Earlier, she held the role of Head of Operations at SameSide, reimagining B2B commerce to streamline business problem-solving through innovative partnerships.
Niketa’s career also includes leadership in people strategy as the VP of People & Culture at esellas, a role in which she directed talent acquisition and strategic HR planning. With previous experience as an HR Director at Diamond Foundry and a senior talent role at JAFRA Cosmetics International, her career reflects a rich background in HR strategy, employee development, and organizational transformation.
