Nishath Moheb Usmani Appointed as Head of Learning & Development, Corporate HR at Larsen & Toubro

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Nishath Moheb Usmani has been appointed as Head of Learning & Development, Corporate HR at Larsen & Toubro (L&T), marking a significant leadership addition as the organization continues to strengthen its talent and capability-building agenda across global operations.

In this role, Nishath will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide learning strategy, leadership development, and capability building initiatives, aligned with L&T’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and long-term value creation.

Prior to this appointment, Nishath has been associated with Larsen & Toubro, where she served as Head – Talent Development & Strategic Initiatives, playing a pivotal role in shaping leadership development frameworks and talent strategies for the organization.

Before joining L&T, she built a strong consulting and learning leadership career at KPMG India, where she progressed from Associate Director to Director and later Associate Partner. During her tenure, she led partner development programs, leadership learning strategies, and client-facing learning solutions, working extensively on designing high-impact learning journeys and coaching senior leaders.

Earlier, Nishath held key roles at Deloitte India (Offices of the US), where she led the Development Center of Excellence for Strategy & Operations, driving large-scale learning strategy, curriculum design, and training impact measurement initiatives.

She also spent several years at Capgemini, serving as Curriculum Director, where she designed global leadership and onboarding programs, including large-scale virtual learning initiatives reaching thousands of employees across geographies.

Her early career includes roles at KPIT and Contract Advertising, where she worked on employee engagement, communication strategies, and business development, building a strong foundation in organizational development and people practices.

Nishath holds an MBA from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and brings deep expertise in leadership development, learning strategy, coaching, and talent transformation.
