Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, September 2024 – Pallavi Johnson has been appointed as Global Head of Talent Strategy at Thoughtworks, where she will deliver a consistent talent-partnering experience to the global executive team. In her new role, Pallavi will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated global HR strategy that supports the major organizational units across 18 countries, while overseeing a global team of Talent Strategists and Talent Business Partners (TBPs).
Prior to this, Pallavi served as Global Head of Talent – Service Lines, where she played a pivotal role in building the people and talent strategy for the organization’s five global service lines. She led key initiatives across data & AI, enterprise modernization, and digital transformation while driving succession planning and leadership development.
In her previous role as Regional Head of People & Talent – ANZ, Pallavi was instrumental in transforming the people agenda post-pandemic, doubling the headcount through strategic talent acquisition, employee engagement, and development initiatives. She also led successful diversity and inclusion strategies, garnering industry recognition.
Pallavi also held the position of Head of Talent Development – Australia, where she led innovative workforce upskilling programs for over 50% of Thoughtworks’ consultants, preparing them for future-critical areas of business and technology. During the pandemic, she spearheaded the transition from in-person to remote learning.
Earlier in her career, Pallavi was Global Talent Program Director and Global Head of Recruiting, where she led the transformation of Thoughtworks’ recruitment strategy and introduced several key programs that enhanced the company’s global talent acquisition capabilities.
