Kolkata, West Bengal, India | July 2026 — RPSG Power Business, part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has appointed Paresh Dholey as Head – Human Resources, Power Generation Units. In his new role, he will lead the human resources function across the Group’s four power generation businesses, comprising CESC Limited, Haldia Energy Limited, and Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited, supporting people strategy, industrial relations, organisational effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, and workforce transformation across operations in West Bengal and Maharashtra.
Paresh joins RPSG Power Business from Hindalco Industries Limited, where he spent nearly eight years in progressively senior HR leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Unit HR Head (Assistant Vice President), leading the end-to-end HR function for a major manufacturing unit. Prior to that, he was Head – Employee & Industrial Relations (Senior General Manager), driving industrial relations, employee engagement, workforce stability, and statutory compliance. Earlier, as Head – HRD (General Manager), he led talent acquisition, leadership development, learning & development, succession planning, and HR process transformation.
Before Hindalco, Paresh served as General Manager at Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank, where he led the HR function across the East and South zones, supporting large-scale business expansion and people initiatives.
Earlier, he spent over seven years with Idea Cellular Limited, progressing from Manager – Human Resources to Vertical Head – Talent Acquisition (AGM), leading talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning, and HR operations across multiple business functions.
His earlier career included HR leadership assignments with The Park Hotels as Assistant Manager – Human Resources and Godrej Agrovet Limited as Human Resources Executive, where he built strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, and HR operations.
Paresh holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (PGCHRM) from XLRI Jamshedpur and an MBA in Human Resources from The University of Burdwan.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning power, metals, manufacturing, banking, telecommunications, hospitality, and agribusiness, Paresh brings extensive expertise in industrial relations, employee relations, organisational development, leadership development, talent acquisition, HR strategy, performance management, and workforce transformation to his new leadership role.
