Northbrook, Illinois, United States – October 2024 – Patty Fay has assumed the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at JCC Chicago. Patty will lead the organization’s HR strategies, focusing on talent development, operational efficiency, and fostering an inclusive environment to support the organization’s mission of reimagining community engagement and connection.
Patty joins JCC Chicago after serving for over a decade at the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana, where she held the position of Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategy, overseeing a $26M budget, and leading a diverse team of over 200 staff members. She also managed the operational aspects of real estate, finance, IT, and HR, driving significant growth and efficiency improvements across the organization.
Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at the same organization, where she developed HR programs, managed a $10M salary budget, and implemented leadership training initiatives. Her efforts focused on optimizing HR functions, enhancing talent management, and improving employee engagement.
Before joining the Girl Scouts, Patty worked as the People and Organization (HR) Manager at Wrigley for a year, where she led talent management, succession planning, and HR processes for North American Finance and Marketing groups. Her efforts included managing immigration, relocation, and restructuring processes.
Earlier in her career, Patty held the role of Regional VP of Human Resources at Associated Bank, where she was responsible for HR functions across 22 branches in the Chicago region. She led HR strategies that aligned with business goals, managed a large workforce, and developed HR policies and training programs.
