Peter Ferrar Joins YMCA Cape Cod as Chief Human Resources Officer

Peter Farrar has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at YMCA Cape Cod. With an extensive career spanning nearly four decades in human resources and talent management, Farrar is set to lead the HR initiatives at YMCA Cape Cod, focusing on enhancing human capital and supporting the organization’s community service goals.

Prior to joining YMCA Cape Cod, Farrar was a Human Resources Executive at Farrar Consulting, LLC, where he led a global HR transformation for a major international package delivery service from April 2018 to March 2024. His efforts were crucial in developing a comprehensive HR transformation roadmap, coordinating high-level committee meetings, and leading deployment strategies across more than 70 countries.

Before his consultancy role, Farrar served as the Managing Director of the Talent & Organization Practice at Accenture from September 1996 to February 2018. In this position, he orchestrated HR and business transformation programs, contributing to significant changes in HR practices at large corporations through innovative strategies and technological solutions.

Farrar’s earlier career also includes significant roles at other prestigious organizations such as The Wyatt Company (now Willis Towers Watson) and various global HR leadership positions that involved crafting HR strategies, developing HR technology implementations, and managing change initiatives across diverse industries.
