Phillip Zammit Appointed Vice President for Asia-Pacific Region at Avaya

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia – October 2024 – Phillip Zammit has been named Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region at Avaya, where he will lead the company’s customer and partner relationships across major markets, including India, Japan, and Greater China. With this appointment, Avaya aims to enhance its market presence and strengthen its relationships across the region under Phillip’s strategic leadership.

Before joining Avaya, Phillip Zammit served as Vice President of CX Product & Partnerships at TELUS International, where he contributed to advancing customer experience and product partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region for a brief period in 2024.

Earlier, Phillip held the position of Head of CX Sales (AI + Data) & GTM for Asia-Pacific & Japan at Zoom, where he led go-to-market strategies, focusing on AI-driven customer experience solutions for nearly two years.

Prior to Zoom, Phillip was Vice President of Worldwide Collaboration Incubation Sales at Cisco, where he played a critical role in driving collaboration solutions globally, particularly focusing on innovative technologies and new market strategies.

Phillip has also held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he was Head of Productivity Applications GTM for Asia-Pacific & Japan, overseeing sales and growth strategies in the cloud productivity sector.
