Ecolab is pleased to announce Poorti Mishra as its new Country HR Partner – India. With over 14 years of experience in human resources management, Mishra brings a wealth of expertise to Ecolab, particularly in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and enhancing employee engagement across various sectors.
Prior to her current role at Ecolab, Mishra was a key HR figure at Sterlite Technologies Limited, where she served as HR Business Partner from July 2013 to March 2024. During her tenure, she was instrumental in delivering the HR strategy for the business, implementing employee engagement practices, and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle. Her efforts significantly boosted retention and performance across the company.
Before joining Sterlite Technologies, Mishra was a Staffing Specialist at IBM from January 2011 to July 2013. In this role, she was responsible for recruiting across the Sales and Distribution Unit, using innovative sourcing techniques and providing strategic staffing solutions that aligned with the business’s dynamic needs.
Her early career includes a stint at Wipro Technologies as an HR Executive in Lateral Hiring, where she managed background verification processes and played a pivotal role in lateral recruitment efforts. Additionally, her role at Loratis Career School as a People Navigator involved handling HR generalist duties in a startup environment, providing her with a diverse range of experiences from recruitment to policy development.
