Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2024 – Preeti Kannan has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at IIFL Finance, one of India’s largest non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). With over 25 years of HR leadership experience, Preeti brings an impressive track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results. At IIFL Finance, she will lead the organization’s HR strategy, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and HR transformation to align with the company’s growth ambitions.

Prior to joining IIFL Finance, Preeti held the role of EVP – Human Resources at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where she was responsible for leading the HR function for consumer assets. During her tenure of over four years, she spearheaded employee engagement initiatives and implemented significant HR transformations to enhance talent strategy across the organization.

Before Kotak Mahindra Bank, Preeti was the National Head of Shared Services & Automation HR at Bajaj Finserv. In this role, she led HR operations and automation, optimizing efficiency and driving customer satisfaction across the HR function. Her two-year leadership at Bajaj Finserv showcased her expertise in managing large-scale HR operations.

Preeti also has extensive global experience, having served as the Head of Global Operations at Fujitsu Consulting for over three years. She was responsible for overseeing HR operations and talent strategy, leading key leadership initiatives across multiple regions, including India and the Middle East.

Her early career includes significant contributions at Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd, where she served as the Sr. Manager for Training for eight years, focusing on skill development and employee training.
