Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2025 – Pritha Das has been elevated to the role of Senior Director – Learning & Development at ACKO, a digital-first insurance leader serving over 200 million Indians. In her new role, Pritha will lead the company’s strategic learning agenda, empowering the workforce through impactful leadership development, performance enablement, and employee experience initiatives.
Over the past 2.5 years at ACKO, Pritha has played a crucial role as Director – Learning and Development, shaping the company’s learning ecosystem. Her initiatives have helped align learning strategy with business transformation goals, focusing on capability building and high-potential talent development.
Prior to joining ACKO, Pritha led the People and Culture function at Near, where she spearheaded a range of organization development programs including competency mapping, succession planning, OKR-based performance management, and integration strategies for post-acquisition alignment. Her 3-year tenure there was marked by cross-functional innovation and strong people-centric practices.
Before Near, she was Practice Manager – Culture & Organization Development at CREAT UNO MINDA, where she worked on organization design, technical academies, and performance strategy. Her earlier roles included L&D leadership positions at Tata Communications, AXA, and Jombay, where she built expertise in behavioral development, leadership training, coaching, and talent measurement.
Pritha holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University and began her career as an Industrial Psychologist at Alcor HRAM Ltd., specializing in psychometric research and talent analytics.
