BASEL, SWITZERLAND — June 2026 — Roche, one of the world’s leading biotechnology and healthcare companies, has appointed Priyeni Mann as Head of Procurement, bringing on board a highly accomplished procurement and supply chain leader with more than two decades of international experience across healthcare, utilities, consumer goods, manufacturing, and supply chain transformation.
Mann joins Roche from Pennon Group Plc, where she served as Group Head of Procurement, leading a team of procurement professionals responsible for approximately £1 billion in annual spend. In this role, she drove cost optimization initiatives, embedded procurement technologies, strengthened procurement governance, and partnered closely with C-suite executives to align procurement strategies with broader business priorities.
Prior to Pennon Group, Mann served as Procurement & Supply Chain Lead at SES Water, where she oversaw enterprise-wide procurement across categories including IT, capital expenditure, chemicals, energy, consulting services, metering solutions, and sustainability initiatives. She led procurement transformation programs, supplier governance improvements, ESG integration, business process automation, and source-to-pay modernization while engaging extensively with board-level stakeholders.
Earlier in her career, Mann spent more than eleven years with Kimberly-Clark, holding a series of progressively senior leadership roles including Procurement Manager – Non-Wovens, Contract Manufacturing and Divestments, European Supply Optimisation Manager, and Supply Optimizer – Europe. During her tenure, she managed global sourcing strategies, supply chain optimization programs, contract manufacturing transitions, supplier relationship management, inventory optimization, and cross-functional innovation initiatives that delivered significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Her earlier experience includes procurement and supply chain roles with Gillette India Limited and India Glycols Limited, where she built expertise in procurement, vendor management, demand planning, customer value chain management, strategic sourcing, and manufacturing operations.
Notably, Mann also took an entrepreneurial career break between 2016 and 2022, during which she established and successfully scaled a mathematics tutoring business from the ground up, growing it into four learning centres that supported more than 1,000 students. The experience further strengthened her leadership, business development, customer engagement, and organizational management capabilities.
At Roche, Mann will be responsible for leading procurement strategy, supplier partnerships, sourcing excellence, sustainability initiatives, procurement transformation, and value creation programs supporting Roche’s global mission of advancing healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
