In this new role, Rae Ann will lead the HR function, spearheading strategic initiatives focused on talent development, organizational culture, and employee engagement across Salal’s expanding national footprint.
Rae Ann most recently served as Talent Acquisition Manager at Salal, where she led full-cycle recruitment, implemented pay transparency initiatives, and collaborated with senior leadership on workforce planning and personnel budgeting. Her leadership was instrumental in improving equity in hiring processes, enhancing onboarding experiences, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Earlier at Salal, she served as Talent Acquisition Supervisor and HR Generalist, where she introduced and executed compensation transparency frameworks, built mentoring programs, developed training resources, and played a key role in employee relations and policy enhancements. Her contributions were recognized when she was awarded “Mentor of the Year” in 2021, a testament to her commitment to coaching and development.
Rae Ann’s career began in the salon industry, where she held multiple leadership roles including Director of Operations at Vasuda Salon and Manager & Creative Director at Honey Salon. In these roles, she built strong operational teams and managed employee development, customer service, marketing, and recruiting. Her early leadership experience laid the foundation for her unique, people-centered HR philosophy.
