Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2025 – InsuranceMarket.ae™, a leading insurance brokerage firm in the UAE, has announced the appointment of Rahul Matiwadekar as its new Chief Learning and Development Officer. In this newly elevated role, Rahul will spearhead the company’s learning and capability-building strategies with a focus on future-ready skills, AI-enabled learning frameworks, and employee development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Rahul brings over a decade of experience in quality assurance, training, product strategy, and AI-based learning design. Most recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at InsuranceMarket.ae™, where he led innovation across product design, data analysis, UI/UX, and security. Prior to that, he held several impactful roles within the company, including Unit Head – Quality & Training and Training and Quality Analyst, establishing himself as a key driver of performance and learning excellence.

Before joining InsuranceMarket.ae™, Rahul was a Quality Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, where he focused on service delivery for North American Citibank clients, coaching teams, creating performance dashboards, and enhancing customer experience through precision quality frameworks.

His earlier experiences at VBPO (American Express Account Protection Services) and Three UK involved fraud analysis, retention strategy, and MIS reporting, where he played vital roles in coaching teams, preventing fraud patterns, and improving customer satisfaction.

Rahul is also a Certified AI Trainer, with a keen interest in integrating artificial intelligence into career development, leadership training, and employee engagement strategies. His ability to blend technical skills with people-centric approaches uniquely positions him to lead InsuranceMarket.ae™’s L&D transformation journey.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
