Mohali, Punjab, India, January 2025 – Ranjeet Gangwar has been appointed as the Cluster HR Head (Mohali, Toansa & Paontasahib) at Sun Pharma. In his new role as General Manager – HR, he will be responsible for overseeing the human resources strategy, talent management, and employee engagement across the three key manufacturing sites.
Before joining Sun Pharma, Ranjeet Gangwar served as Senior HRBP & Deputy General Manager HR at Zydus Group for approximately 3 years, where he was responsible for HR strategies, talent pipeline management, and employee experience at the Jarod, Vadodara facility, a US export-oriented unit in the pharmaceutical sector.
Prior to that, he worked as Sr. HRBP & HR Head at Signify (Philips Lighting India Ltd.), where he led HR operations across the Vadodara and Mohali clusters, focusing on driving HR analytics, talent competency development, and proactive industrial relations management.
Earlier, Ranjeet held various HR leadership positions at Hero MotoCorp, where he played a key role in setting up HR processes for a greenfield manufacturing site, and Indian Oil Corporation, where he managed employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning for nearly a decade.
