In his new role, René will oversee Cellcom’s financial operations, strategic planning, and growth initiatives, leveraging his extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic management.
René brings a wealth of experience to Cellcom, having served as Chief Financial Officer at Foodtastic, where he spearheaded financial planning and supported strategic decision-making for the organization. Prior to this, René was Managing Director & Partner at KPMG Canada, where he contributed to numerous high-level financial strategies and managed key projects across industries.
Before his tenure at KPMG, René held the role of Senior Vice-President and Vice President of Corporate Finance at various firms in Montreal, further cementing his reputation as a leader in financial management and project execution. He has also been an active contributor to the financial community, serving as President of the Montreal Chapter for Young Canadians in Finance. His initiatives there fostered professional growth and networking opportunities for finance professionals across the region.
Earlier in his career, René was a Partner at Goulet Cormier & Associates, where he gained valuable experience in M&A, financial analysis, and strategic planning across diverse sectors including transportation, printing, and multimedia.
