Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – October 2024 – Rinkesh Roy has been appointed as the new CEO and Joint Managing Director of JSW Infrastructure Limited. Currently serving as the company’s President, Rinkesh will officially take on his new role on November 8, 2024, following a board recommendation. He will lead the company’s expansion and operational strategies across its diverse portfolio, driving growth and innovation.
Rinkesh Roy previously served as the Divisional Railway Manager at Indian Railways, where he managed the Khurda Road division and led railway operations, logistics, and infrastructure enhancements over approximately two years.
He also held the position of Managing Director at Haridaspur Paradip Railway Company Limited, contributing to strategic railway projects during his tenure.
In addition, Rinkesh was the Chairman of the Dredging Corporation of India Limited and Paradeep Port under the Government of India, where he played a vital role in port operations, infrastructure management, and dredging initiatives for over five years. His leadership extended to Vishakapatnam Port, Tuticorin Port Trust (VOCPT), and Kamrajar Port, where he drove strategic development and operational improvements.
Earlier in his career, Rinkesh served at the Railway Board, taking on roles such as Director Traffic and Director Planning, where he contributed to planning, logistics, and national railway strategies for several years.
