San Francisco Bay Area, California, August 2024 – Robert Gill has taken on the role of Head of People at Arine. In his new position, Robert will be responsible for leading the HR function, focusing on talent development, organizational culture, and strategic HR initiatives to support Arine’s continued growth and innovation in the healthcare technology sector.
Prior to joining Arine, Robert served as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Luminar Technologies for approximately 1 year and 4 months. In this role, he was instrumental in developing talent strategies and providing executive coaching, which contributed to the company’s rapid growth in the autonomous vehicle industry.
Before that, Robert was the HR Business Partner Team Lead – Engineering at Block for nearly 4 years. He led a team responsible for HR operations across multiple engineering teams, managed the integration of acquisitions, and implemented strategic HR programs that significantly improved employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Robert also gained valuable experience as the Director of People Operations at ThirdLove for about 9 months. He was responsible for building the company’s people strategy from the ground up, including designing its first engagement survey, compensation review, and performance feedback processes.
In addition to his corporate roles, Robert held the position of Director of People Operations at Checkr, Inc. for over a year. He led the HR function during a period of rapid expansion and was a key figure in initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and performance management.
Earlier in his career, Robert held various HR roles at companies such as Meta, TubeMogul, and Genesys, where he developed expertise in HR operations, global employment law compliance, and HR project management.
