Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2025 — Drydocks World, a global leader in maritime and offshore energy services, has announced the appointment of Robert Musat as its new Director – Talent Acquisition and Development. In this pivotal role, Robert will lead cross-border hiring and employee development strategies, focusing on building workforce capability and leadership excellence across the organization’s global operations.
Before joining Drydocks World, Robert served as Head of Talent and Performance at ALDAR, where he implemented enterprise-wide talent and performance strategies, launched a new career management framework, and optimized UAE National programs for impact and efficiency. He also led the rollout of a company-wide performance management system using Workday and SuccessFactors, aligning employee goals with business priorities while enhancing organizational agility.
Prior to ALDAR, Robert worked at ADQ as Head of Talent Management, where he played a critical role in developing leadership pipelines, executing succession strategies, and advancing organizational effectiveness across the group’s portfolio companies. His initiatives in compensation planning, workforce development, and HR digital transformation contributed to ADQ’s strong people-first culture.
Earlier in his career, Robert served as Learning and Development Manager at DarkMatter LLC, where he established large-scale leadership development and workforce upskilling programs for a high-tech and security-focused environment. He also held key learning leadership roles at Cegeka Romania and Avira, where he designed training academies, implemented knowledge management frameworks, and aligned learning strategies with business goals.
Robert began his career at Wipro Technologies Romania, where he managed strategic leadership development initiatives across multiple European locations. His early exposure to global talent management and organizational learning shaped his expertise in developing agile, high-performing, and globally connected workforces.
Robert holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Public Relations from SNSPA (National School of Political Studies and Public Administration), Romania, and is known for his innovative approaches to HR transformation, talent strategy, and leadership development.
