Rohit Baheti Appointed as CFO, Flow Control and Advanced Refractories BU, EMEA at Vesuvius

Brussels, Belgium, April 2026 — Rohit Baheti has started a new position as CFO, Flow Control and Advanced Refractories BU, EMEA at Vesuvius. His appointment marks an important international leadership move and reflects his growing finance leadership journey within the organization. In this role, he is set to support the financial stewardship of a key business segment in the EMEA region as Vesuvius continues to advance its position in molten metal flow engineering and technology.

Before taking on this role, Rohit Baheti served at Vesuvius as CFO, Advanced Refractories BU, EMEA. Prior to that, he was CFO, Vesuvius India Limited and Finance Director, Steel – South Asia, where he held a major finance leadership mandate in India. His progression across these roles highlights a strong internal growth path and increasing responsibility across geographies and business segments within the company.

Before joining Vesuvius, Rohit Baheti built a significant career at JM Financial Ltd, where he served as Executive Director, following earlier roles as Director and Vice President. During this phase of his career, he deepened his exposure to finance, strategic advisory, and leadership in the financial services sector.

Earlier, he spent more than seven years at MAPE Advisory Group, progressing through the roles of Vice President, Associate Vice President, Manager, and Associate. His work there was focused on origination and execution of mandates in the technology sector at a mid-market investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private equity syndication advisory. This experience helped shape a strong foundation in corporate finance, deal execution, and strategic transactions.

Prior to that, Rohit Baheti worked at ICICI Bank as Manager, Global Project Finance Group and Manager, Global Investment Banking Group. In these assignments, he worked on financial modeling, credit appraisal, deal structuring, and high-yield securities-related activities, including convertibles, mezzanine debt, and hybrid instruments. He also completed an internship with Halcyon (Private Equity), where he analyzed investment opportunities for private equity investments, and earlier worked at JP Morgan Chase as Team Member, Global Trade Finance.

His career path reflects a strong and consistent progression across banking, investment advisory, corporate finance, and CFO leadership roles. With experience spanning India, Europe, and diverse finance environments, Rohit Baheti brings a well-rounded and strategic finance perspective to his new role at Vesuvius.
