Pune, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Rohit Narang has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Aquapharm Chemical Limited, effective May 2026, part of the multi-billion-dollar business conglomerate RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. In his new role, he is directing a multi-hundred-million-dollar global P&L and a workforce of more than 700 personnel, with responsibility for end-to-end strategic leadership and operational scaling of manufacturing assets across the United States, Saudi Arabia, and India.
Rohit brings a formidable 25-year track record of global leadership across the specialty chemicals sector. Prior to joining Aquapharm, he served in high-impact leadership capacities at Eastman Chemical Company, where he provided global P&L leadership for substantial, large-scale portfolios across specialty market segments and spearheaded multi-billion-dollar M&A transitions. His extensive career also includes foundational business development, corporate strategy, and global project execution roles at Solutia Inc., Emerson Electric, Siemens AG, and Hutchison.
An alumnus of the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, Narang also holds an MBA from Washington University’s Olin Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from UP Technical University.
With a deep expertise in international market expansion and profitable growth strategy, Narang’s appointment signals a strong new chapter of accelerated global development for Aquapharm Chemical Limited.
