Roy Rohan Richard Promoted to Director, Talent Acquisition at IQVIA

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India | July 2026 — IQVIA has promoted Roy Rohan Richard to the role of Director, Talent Acquisition, recognizing his significant contributions to the organization’s talent strategy and people function. In his new role, he will lead talent acquisition initiatives, strengthen hiring strategy, enhance employer branding, and build talent capabilities to support IQVIA’s continued global growth across the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Roy has been with IQVIA for over 11 years, steadily progressing through multiple leadership roles. Prior to this promotion, he served as Associate Director, Talent Acquisition, where he led strategic hiring initiatives, talent acquisition transformation, workforce planning, recruitment analytics, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.

Earlier, he held the role of Projects Management, Analytics & HR Business Partner, supporting enterprise HR initiatives, people analytics, organizational projects, and business partnering. Simultaneously, he also served as a Human Resources Business Partner, partnering with business leaders on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Before joining IQVIA, Roy spent nearly five years with Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd., where he served as both HR Analyst and Human Resources Generalist. During this period, he gained extensive experience across HR business partnering, succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, total rewards, onboarding, career development, and employee relations.

He began his professional career as Territory Manager at ThoughtBerry Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., managing enterprise accounts and business development initiatives.

Roy holds a Human Capital Management Certification from XLRI Jamshedpur, further strengthening his expertise in strategic human resources and talent management.

With over 15 years of experience across talent acquisition, HR strategy, workforce planning, people analytics, HR business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and organizational development, Roy brings deep expertise to his expanded leadership role at IQVIA.
