Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, July 2026 — Hyperion Materials & Technologies has appointed Sahil Sansi as Vice President, Commercial – APAC, entrusting him with responsibility for leading the company’s commercial strategy and P&L across India, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Australia & New Zealand. In his new role, he will drive regional growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and accelerate commercial excellence across the Asia-Pacific business.
Prior to assuming this role, Sahil served as General Manager/Managing Director – ANZ and Commercial Excellence – APAC at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, where he led the Australia and New Zealand business while spearheading commercial excellence initiatives across the broader Asia-Pacific region. He was responsible for P&L management, go-to-market strategy, sales transformation, acquisition integration, commercial process optimization, and strategic growth initiatives. Alongside his corporate responsibilities, he also serves as a Career Mentor at RMIT University, supporting the professional development of emerging talent.
Before joining Hyperion, Sahil held several senior leadership positions within Veralto and Danaher Corporation. His leadership journey included roles such as General Manager/Managing Director – South ASEAN and ATTC Training Centre (APAC), General Manager/Managing Director – Malaysia, Board Member – Danaher South East Asia, Acquisition Integration Lead, and Director, Strategic Marketing – Asia Pacific. Across these positions, he led regional commercial organizations, managed cross-functional teams, executed acquisition integrations, developed go-to-market strategies, and drove operational excellence across the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier in his career, Sahil served as Engagement Manager at Vector Consulting Group, where he advised organizations on business transformation and supply chain optimization. He also held leadership roles with Airtel, Johnson & Johnson, and Nokia, gaining extensive experience in sales leadership, product management, strategic marketing, channel development, and customer engagement. His professional journey began with a marketing internship at Nestlé, providing an early foundation in consumer insights and product strategy.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning industrial manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, consulting, and technology, Sahil has built a distinguished career leading commercial transformation, regional business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and high-performing teams. His appointment reflects Hyperion Materials & Technologies’ commitment to strengthening its commercial leadership and accelerating growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
