New York, United States, June 2024 – Samantha Saint-Germain is thrilled to announce her new role as Senior Director, Early Talent Development (US) at Universal Music Group. Samantha is excited to take on this leadership position and contribute to nurturing early talent within the organization.
Samantha Saint-Germain brings a rich background in talent development to her new role at Universal Music Group (UMG). For the past three and a half years, she has been an integral part of UMG, most recently serving as the Director, Early Career Development (US) from 2021 to 2024. In this role, she played a key part in shaping early career development programs and fostering young talent across the organization.
Before joining UMG, Samantha worked with the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a Recruiter, League & Team Talent Acquisition (US) from 2019 to 2021. Her efforts in hiring, diversity, and inclusion significantly contributed to the NBA’s talent acquisition strategy.
Samantha’s career in talent and program management began at SEEDS – Access Changes Everything, where she served as Associate Director, Programs from 2016 to 2019. She managed various programs, focusing on people management and higher education initiatives. Prior to this, she was the Site Director, College Scholars Program at SEEDS from 2015 to 2016.
She also gained valuable experience at People’s Preparatory Charter School as the Assistant Director, Office of College Placement from 2014 to 2016. In this role, she helped students navigate their paths to higher education and beyond.
