Nordborg, Region Syddanmark, Denmark, April 2025 – Sandra Bertelsen has been promoted to Vice President HR, Climate Solutions at Danfoss, stepping into the role after over a decade of strategic HR leadership at the company. In her new position, she will oversee the human resources function for the Climate Solutions division, driving people strategy, leadership development, and talent transformation aligned with Danfoss’ global objectives.
Sandra’s promotion follows her recent short-term role as HR Senior Director, Climate Solutions, where she partnered closely with the Divisional President of the Heat Exchanger Division. Prior to that, she served as Senior Director, HR Regions, leading Danfoss’ 10 HR regional organizations and acting as the business partner to the President of Danfoss Regions.

Earlier, Sandra led the Northern Europe HR team as Senior Director, HR Northern Europe, where she was responsible for end-to-end HR strategy across multiple countries. She also served for over eight years on the Board of Directors at Danfoss, contributing her insights into executive management and corporate strategy.
Before her board tenure and regional leadership, she held key roles including Head of HR Denmark and HR Services, Northern Europe, and HR Director, Labor Relations & Preboarding, where she guided transformation, legal compliance, and service delivery initiatives. Sandra began her Danfoss journey in 2012 as a Senior Legal Consultant.
Before joining Danfoss, she spent over three years at ITD (International Transport Denmark) as Senior Legal Consultant, and three years at S-Advokaterne as a Paralegal, building strong expertise in labor relations and employment law.
