Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2024 – Sanjay Dwivedi has been elevated to the position of Group CEO at Balaji Telefilms Ltd, while continuing his responsibilities as Group CFO. The decision, approved during the company’s board meeting on November 14, underscores Sanjay’s outstanding contributions since joining the organization in 2013.

With nearly 30 years of expertise spanning the Media & Entertainment and FMCG sectors, Sanjay has been pivotal in driving strategic financial management, tax optimization, fundraising, and corporate partnerships. As Group CFO, he has overseen key financial strategies that have fortified Balaji Telefilms’ market position, while his tenure as Group COO demonstrated his ability to align operational efficiencies with the company’s ambitious growth objectives.

Sanjay began his journey with Balaji Telefilms Ltd in 2013 as Group CFO, where he laid the foundation for robust financial planning and implemented impactful cost-management strategies. In August 2023, he took on the additional responsibility of Group COO, overseeing both operational and financial realms of the company. His elevation to Group CEO recognizes his leadership in steering the company’s strategic direction and operational excellence.

Before joining Balaji Telefilms, Sanjay held leadership roles at several prominent organizations. At Nimbus Communications Limited, he served as Senior Vice President – Finance & Accounts, where he drove key financial initiatives in the dynamic media space. As Vice President – Finance at Mirchi, he contributed to strengthening financial systems for the leading radio network.

Sanjay’s career also includes a tenure at GSK as Manager – Finance, where he honed his expertise in financial governance. Earlier, he worked at TATA SSL Limited as Assistant Manager – Systems and Audits, and began his professional journey at Lodha & Co. as an Articled Trainee during his Chartered Accountancy program.
