Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom, February 2026 — Sarah Shearer has started a new position as Head of Aberdeen & People Operations at Aize. In this expanded leadership role, she will oversee regional operations in Aberdeen while continuing to shape the company’s people operations strategy to support growth and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to her new appointment, Sarah Shearer served as Head of Aberdeen | People Operations Manager at Aize, following her role as People Operations Manager, where she helped strengthen HR frameworks and people processes. Earlier, she worked as People + Organisation Manager at Aize, contributing to the development of the company’s people and organizational capabilities during a key growth phase.
Before joining Aize, she spent nearly 14 years at Aker Solutions, where she held a series of progressively responsible roles including Senior Advisor – ix3 Performance & New Developments, Performance and Improvement Coordinator – Asset Integrity Management, Project Transition Coordinator, and HSEQ & Compliance Coordinator. Across these roles, she supported operational performance, compliance, and transition initiatives within the oil and gas sector. She began her career in operational and coordination roles supporting offshore and logistics functions in Aberdeen.
