Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 2025 – Sarah Yon has stepped into the role of Chief People Officer at Boost, a regional fintech powerhouse driving financial empowerment and inclusion across Southeast Asia. In her new capacity, Sarah will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on fostering a high-performance culture, strengthening leadership development, and enabling business growth through talent innovation.
Before joining Boost, Sarah served as Executive Director – Head of People at GXBank, where she played a key role in building the bank’s human capital foundation during its formative years. She was instrumental in workforce planning, shaping talent policies, and aligning HR with GXBank’s digital-first mission in Malaysia’s rapidly evolving banking sector.
Earlier, Sarah was Head of HR Business Partnering – Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei at Coca-Cola Beverages, where she led cross-market HR initiatives across three countries. Her responsibilities included labor and employment law compliance, performance management, and employee engagement strategies, contributing to a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture.
Prior to that, she held progressive HR roles at HSBC, including HR Business Partner and Manager, Talent and Organisational Development, where she supported talent development and succession planning within the bank’s Retail Banking and Wealth Management division. Her efforts helped reinforce leadership pipelines and organizational capabilities in a highly competitive financial services environment.
