Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, April 2025 – Sathya Ramachandran has stepped into the role of Vice President, HR Digital Design and Transformation Enablement Lead at Standard Chartered, marking a significant milestone in his 20+ year career focused on HR transformation, process reengineering, and digital enablement.
Sathya has been with Standard Chartered for over nine years, most recently serving as Lead – Product Owner, HR Digital Systems & Enablement for HR Transformation, where she was instrumental in steering enterprise-wide HR digitization, managing cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and leading initiatives on process simplification, ServiceNow, and employee experience.
Prior to that, she spent six years as Senior Programme Manager – Business Process Reengineering, RPA & Ops Excellence, driving business transformation through automation and operational efficiency. Her earlier role as Senior Project Manager – Business Process Architecture and HR Transformation further reinforced her deep expertise in change management and strategic program delivery within global HR frameworks.
Before rejoining Standard Chartered in 2015, Sathya held consulting and advisory roles, including her tenure at Deloitte Canada as Senior Consultant – HCM & HR Technology, where she advised clients on HR technology adoption, process optimization, and business intelligence. She also worked as HR Business Advisor with SBD Group in London and as a Freelance Consultant across various firms, focusing on HRIS and stakeholder management.
Sathya’s foundational years included several leadership roles in HR Shared Services and Transformation at Standard Chartered Global Business Services between 2001 and 2011, where she rose through the ranks to become Manager – HR Business Solutions, setting the stage for her future in HR digital leadership.
