Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Lighthouse Canton has appointed Shalini Thakur as Vice President – HR & Head – Talent Acquisition (Global – India, Middle East, UK). In her new role, she will lead global talent acquisition initiatives across India, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom for Lighthouse Canton and its AI-powered wealth-tech platform, Keenai Global.
Thakur will partner closely with business leaders to strengthen the organization’s talent strategy, build robust leadership pipelines, and drive both lateral and campus hiring initiatives as the company continues its growth across global markets. Her appointment underscores Lighthouse Canton’s commitment to attracting top talent and supporting its expansion in wealth management, asset management, and financial technology.
Prior to joining Lighthouse Canton, Thakur served as Lead – Talent Acquisition (Manager) at CRISIL Limited, where she managed end-to-end hiring across ratings and corporate functions while leading a team of recruitment professionals. Earlier, she spent more than three years with JPMorgan Chase & Co., progressing from Associate – Talent Acquisition (Technology) to Associate (AVP) – Talent Acquisition (Technology), supporting technology hiring and talent strategies within one of the world’s leading financial institutions.
Before transitioning into corporate talent acquisition leadership, she worked as an Independent Talent Acquisition Consultant and previously served as a Consultant at Vito India Advisors, specializing in executive search and leadership hiring across financial services, consumer, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors.
Her entrepreneurial experience includes serving as Co-founder and Director of Healthpaedia Pvt. Ltd., a preventive healthcare management venture. Earlier in her career, she held leadership and business development roles with Purple Squirrel Eduventures, Godrej, NIIT IFBI, and i2i Consulting, gaining diverse experience across talent development, business growth, stakeholder management, corporate communications, and strategic partnerships.
Shalini Thakur holds an Executive Development Program in Human Resource Management (EDPHRM) from XLRI Jamshedpur and a PGDM in Marketing from the New Delhi Institute of Management.
With experience spanning talent acquisition, executive search, leadership hiring, stakeholder management, and business development, she brings a unique blend of HR and commercial expertise to her new position. Her leadership is expected to support Lighthouse Canton’s ongoing growth while strengthening its global talent ecosystem.
