Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2025 — Shankaran (Shanks) Srinivasan has joined EY Global Consulting Services as Executive Director, marking a significant addition to the firm’s leadership team. With more than 30 years of global experience spanning technology, strategy, engineering, and operations, he will focus on advancing EY’s mission to build a better working world, while supporting clients in navigating complex global challenges.
In his new role, Shankaran will drive global operations and contribute to strategic consulting initiatives that foster trust and deliver lasting business impact. He brings deep expertise in delivering large-scale transformation programs, digital platforms, analytics, security, IoT, and smart mobility solutions.
Prior to joining EY, Shankaran held key leadership roles at several global organizations. At Visa, he spent nearly seven years, most recently serving as Sr. Director Engineering & Site Leader, where he oversaw Digital Developer Platform (DDP) and Value Added Services (VAS) and championed diversity and inclusion initiatives in Bengaluru. Earlier, he was Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where he held multiple regional leadership roles in Institutional Securities and Wealth Management Technology.
He also co-founded Sloan Global Partners, which provided strategic operational solutions to Fortune 100 pharmaceutical firms. Before that, Shankaran served as Sr. Director at AGT International, leading major programs in analytics, security, and machine learning. His career also includes leadership positions at UBS, where he spearheaded IT portfolio strategies, as well as senior roles at Ascensus, First Chicago Bank & Trust, and DST Systems.
Shankaran’s diverse background and innovative mindset position him to play a pivotal role at EY, helping clients and teams accelerate digital transformation, develop future-ready solutions, and create sustainable growth.
