AUSTIN, Texas, – TPx, a frontrunner in managed services spanning network management, cybersecurity, and cloud communications across the nation, has appointed Shaun Andrews as its new Chief Executive Officer. Andrews, who brings over two decades of experience from his tenure at Lumen, where he recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, is set to spearhead TPx’s ambitious growth strategy and reinforce its status as a top-tier managed services provider.

The transition sees Rick Mace, the outgoing CEO, stepping down while continuing his involvement with the company as a member of the TPx Board. This move ensures a seamless handover, leveraging Mace’s seasoned leadership and deep understanding of the company’s strategic direction to support Andrews in his new role.

Andrews’s appointment is timely, coinciding with TPx’s strategic pivot towards becoming an all-encompassing provider of managed networking, cybersecurity, and cloud communications services. His impressive track record at Lumen—overseeing go-to-market strategies and holding P&L responsibility for key enterprise solutions—positions him as the ideal leader to navigate TPx through this pivotal transition.

Reflecting on his tenure, Rick Mace expressed pride in the advancements TPx has achieved under his guidance, particularly in upgrading technology infrastructure to meet and exceed industry standards. He commended Andrews’s leadership qualities, industry acumen, and dedication to serving mid-market and SMB customers as vital to TPx’s continued success.

Andrews, expressing his enthusiasm for the role, highlighted TPx’s customer-focused ethos and its critical role in supporting businesses’ IT needs for continuity and essential services. He is poised to build on the company’s strong foundation, aiming to enhance its service offerings and operational processes for the betterment of its clientele.

Bret Griess, a director on the TPx Board, lauded Andrews’s extensive experience in managed services and his proven capability in driving transformational efforts. Griess also extended gratitude to Mace for his invaluable contributions that have solidified TPx’s position as a premier managed service provider, enhancing service delivery to its extensive customer base.

Founded in 1998, TPx has been at the forefront of addressing the increasingly complex IT requirements of organizations nationwide. With a comprehensive suite of managed IT services, TPx continues to prioritize customer success, simplifying technology management amid the rapidly evolving IT landscape.
