Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Shipra Srivastava has been elevated to Head of Marketing at Spotify India, marking a significant leadership milestone in her journey with the global audio streaming platform.
In her new role, Shipra Srivastava will lead marketing for Spotify India, driving brand growth, consumer engagement, go-to-market strategy, media, partnerships, and market initiatives as the platform continues to deepen its connection with Indian listeners, artists, creators, and advertisers.
Shipra has been associated with Spotify for more than seven years. Before being elevated to Head of Marketing, she served as Head of Marketing – Interim, where she led marketing responsibilities for the India business. She has also served as Director of Media, overseeing media, owned platform marketing, and brand partnerships, contributing to Spotify’s market-building efforts in India.
Earlier at Spotify, Shipra played an important role in go-to-market strategy and media leadership as the platform strengthened its presence in the Indian audio streaming market. Her experience across media planning, marketing leadership, brand partnerships, and consumer engagement has positioned her as a strong marketing leader in the digital entertainment and audio ecosystem.
Before joining Spotify, Shipra served as Head of Marketing at BIG FM, where she worked on marketing strategy and brand initiatives in the radio and media sector. Her experience at BIG FM added to her understanding of audio, entertainment, audience engagement, and media-led brand building.
Prior to BIG FM, Shipra spent more than five years with OLX Group, where she held roles including Director – Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager – Media, and Marketing Manager. At OLX, she worked across marketing strategy, media planning, brand growth, consumer campaigns, and go-to-market execution for a high-growth digital marketplace.
Shipra’s earlier career includes roles with ZenithOptimedia and Mediacom, where she built a strong foundation in media strategy, planning, campaign execution, and advertising. These experiences helped shape her expertise across media, brand communication, digital marketing, and consumer-focused growth.
