New Delhi, India, July 2026 — Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has elected Sinchan Mukherjee as Managing Director & Partner, marking a significant milestone in his consulting career after more than a decade with the global management consulting firm. The elevation recognizes his sustained contributions to client advisory, business transformation, and strategic consulting across industries.
With over 15 years of professional experience, Sinchan has built a distinguished career spanning management consulting, business strategy, analytics, and digital transformation. During his 11-year journey at Boston Consulting Group, he has progressed through multiple leadership roles, demonstrating consistent growth and delivering strategic impact for clients.
Sinchan joined Boston Consulting Group in 2015 as a Consultant before advancing to Project Leader in 2017, Principal in 2019, and Partner in 2022. In his new role as Managing Director & Partner, he will continue working with business leaders to address complex strategic challenges, drive transformation initiatives, and help organizations create sustainable competitive advantage through BCG’s collaborative consulting approach.
Prior to joining BCG, Sinchan spent more than four years at Opera Solutions, where he progressed from Associate to Senior Associate and later Engagement Manager, gaining extensive experience in analytics-driven consulting and client engagement. Earlier in his career, he completed a Summer Internship with Tata Administrative Services and began his professional journey as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant Technology Solutions, building a strong foundation in technology and business problem-solving.
Sinchan holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), earned between 2009 and 2011, further strengthening his expertise in business strategy, finance, and management.
