Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, June 2024 – Stefan Popovic has been appointed as the new Group Chief People Officer at SARAH Group Holdings. Stefan brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in human resources, ready to lead the group’s people strategies and initiatives.
Stefan Popovic has been with SARAH Group Holdings for several years, progressively advancing through various HR roles. Most recently, he served as the Group Executive – Human Resources, where he played a critical role in shaping the group’s HR policies and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Prior to this, Stefan was the Human Resources Manager at Sarah Constructions. In this role, he managed HR operations and contributed to the overall strategic direction of the company.
Stefan has also held several other key positions within SARAH Group Holdings, including P&C Business Partner (June 2018 to October 2019), Senior Advisor – Employee Relations (July 2017 to June 2018), Acting Team Leader – People & Culture (September 2017 to January 2018), Employee Relations Advisor (February 2016 to July 2017), Human Resources Advisor (March 2015 to February 2016), and Human Resources Coordinator (January 2014 to March 2015). Each role allowed Stefan to deepen his expertise in employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy.
Before joining SARAH Group, Stefan worked as an HR/WHS Consultant at Employer Global Solutions from February 2013 to January 2014, where he provided HR and workplace health and safety consultancy services.
SARAH Group Holdings is a diversified building and construction business based in South Australia. Established in 1961, the group comprises Sarah Constructions, a commercial construction contractor; Hindmarsh Plumbing, a commercial plumbing, maintenance, and water treatment contractor; and Longridge Group, a retail housing builder. The Group also includes an active investment portfolio.
