Pune, Maharashtra, India, August 2024 – Sudhir Kulkarni has been appointed as the new Executive Director Human Resources at Bridgestone India. In this role, Sudhir will be responsible for leading HR strategies, managing organizational and cultural transformation, and aligning HR initiatives with Bridgestone’s business objectives both locally and regionally.
Sudhir Kulkarni brings a wealth of experience in human resources management, having held several senior HR positions across prominent organizations. Prior to joining Bridgestone India, Sudhir served as the Vice President HR and Head of HR for the CG Group at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited for over a year. In this role, he was a key member of the executive committee, driving HR strategies and managing stakeholder relationships during a critical period of transformation.
Before his tenure at CG Power, Sudhir was the Vice President HR for REHAU South Asia, a subsidiary of the Swiss company, where he managed HR operations across multiple plants and offices in South Asia. He was also responsible for talent development and HR digitization across the Asia Pacific region.
Sudhir’s career also includes a significant role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata BlueScope Steel, where he managed HR for the South Asia region, overseeing six manufacturing locations in India and one in Sri Lanka. His leadership was instrumental in maintaining the company’s market leadership in both B2B and retail spaces.
Earlier in his career, Sudhir spent over 14 years with Sulzer India Ltd., where he held various HR roles, including Director HR, ESH. His career began at Bharat Forge Ltd and Cummins India, where he gained valuable experience in HR, IR, and administration.
