Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2026 – PwC India has announced the appointment of Suhas M as Managing Director in its Digital Engineering practice, where he will lead and accelerate the firm’s Engineering Transformation Practice focused on the Automotive sector.
The appointment comes at a time when the global automotive industry is undergoing rapid transformation driven by Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs), electrification, connected mobility, cybersecurity, and intelligent digital ecosystems. Suhas brings more than two decades of global leadership experience across automotive engineering, software-defined mobility, product development, and cybersecurity, making him well-positioned to support clients navigating this evolving landscape.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Suhas has built an accomplished career leading large-scale engineering, technology, and transformation initiatives across some of the world’s most respected automotive and mobility organizations. His appointment reflects PwC India’s continued investment in deep industry expertise and next-generation engineering capabilities to help clients accelerate innovation and digital transformation.
Prior to joining PwC India, Suhas M served as Managing Director at ETAS India, where he led the company’s operations across sales, engineering, administration, commercial, and business functions. During his tenure, he delivered significant revenue growth, spearheaded the organization’s strategic transition toward Software Defined Vehicles, drove operational efficiencies, and successfully integrated Bosch India’s Diagnostics business into ETAS India. He also played a key role in establishing strategic partnerships and strengthening engineering delivery capabilities while serving as a Board Director responsible for governance, compliance, financial performance, and organizational growth.
Earlier, Suhas served as Chief Technology Officer at PV Clean Mobility Technologies, where he was responsible for end-to-end product engineering and manufacturing, leading electrification strategies and driving innovation across electric vehicle technologies. In this role, he worked closely with leadership teams to shape product roadmaps, engineering capabilities, customer relationships, and long-term growth strategies.
Before that, he held senior leadership positions at Vitesco Technologies and Continental, where he led Automotive Functional Safety Centers of Competence and played a critical role in scaling engineering capabilities across Asia. He successfully delivered complex functional safety programs for leading automotive manufacturers and drove the transfer of global next-generation development responsibilities to India, establishing strong engineering capabilities for global mobility programs.
Suhas also spent over a decade with Bosch, progressing through multiple leadership positions across India and Germany. During this period, he contributed extensively to automotive embedded systems, powertrain control units, electrification technologies, software architecture, and engineering management while working with global automotive OEMs and technology teams.
With expertise spanning Software Defined Vehicles, electrification, automotive cybersecurity, engineering transformation, functional safety, embedded systems, and digital mobility platforms, Suhas brings a unique blend of business leadership and deep engineering capability. His appointment is expected to strengthen PwC India’s position in helping automotive clients build future-ready engineering organizations and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
